Are Byrna launchers considered firearms?
No. Because they are CO2-powered, they are not considered a firearm under federal law.
No application is required, no background checks are needed, there are no waiting periods, and you do not need a CCW to carry one.

Can I fly with my Byrna?
Flying with your Byrna is permitted as long as it is unloaded, cased, and in checked luggage.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are normally shipped within two business days by USPS Ground. You will receive an email with your tracking number once it has been generated.
What is the damaged products policy?
From the Byrna website: Byrna® launchers, Byrna Shields™, Byrna Banshees™ and Byrna launcher accessories and projectiles that are damaged or defective when received will be replaced at no charge to the customer provided that a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is requested within ten days of receipt and the product is shipped within five days of the RMA issuance.
*This policy provides for replacement of goods that arrive damaged or defective upon inspection with new products at no cost to the customer. Defects or operational issues that arise after this period will be repaired in accordance with our standard limited factory warranty.
Do you have a physical store location?

What is the limited factory warranty?
The Byrna personal security device is warranted by Byrna Technologies Inc., solely to the original retail purchaser, to be delivered free from factory defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.
To obtain warranty coverage, the warranty holder must provide proof of original purchase, and the defective device must be safely and securely packaged and shipped before the expiration of the warranty period to Byrna Technologies Inc.’s designated service center in accordance with instructions provided with the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
The buyer’s remedy under this warranty is limited, at the sole option of Byrna Technologies Inc., to a refund or credit to buyer of the price, or replacement of the defective device or other product. Byrna Technologies Inc. shall have the sole authority to determine if a claim is covered by this limited warranty.
